Hey, Here it is the day before Christmas and I'm sitting here playing around with my blog page. I have been trying to get some pictures onto here and have finally got some, although as you will notice I got one upside down. And I can't figure out how to get it changed. If you place your mouse on the picture it will make the slide stop so you know what that picture is all about. So this is a trip that some of my family took to Temple Square to see the Christmas lights. We had a blast. I had not been there forever. And my two youngest kids has never been there before. So we planned the trip for a Sunday night, so that we could all go. It was me and my kids, Amy, Brayden and Teggan. My parents, Gail and Pam. We came to SLC from Manti. And from Logan my brother Ben and his wife Jen, and their two cute kids Haedyn and Tylee. Also from Logan, my sister Sheena and her fiance Colby. We went to eat and then went up to Temple Square. As we got closer to the temple we realized it was the Christmas Devotional at the Conference Center. So there was a lot of traffic. But Temple Square wasn't busy. We went to the visitor center and went up the spiral walkway to the Christ Statue. It, of course gave me chills and made me cry to see that wonderful statue. It is so beautiful walking up that walkway. It makes you feel like your walking to heaven. We slowly made our way through temple square with all the lights. There are so many! We got a nice picture with me and the kids in a covering of trees with orange lights. I thought it turned out pretty good. The reflection pool was beautiful. The nativity scene was in the center, and you could see the reflection of the temple in the pool. This has been the highlight of my Christmas Season so far. I know when I post these picture my sister in Dallas will be crying as well. Well quess what Steph. I thought of you the whole way through the temple grounds. I know you and the kids and Brit would love to come and see these lights. We wish you would have been with us. Also we has another sister and her family missing. Katy, Brian, Ashton and Bam. We missed them too. Okay I had better get busy finishing up with my Christmas lists. Have a wonderful Christmas Season. And may all your wishes come true!
